PROCLAME: Protein Cleavage and Modification Engine
Before using this application, please note the following:
- PROCLAME is still in late prototype stage. It works as designed,
but a few bugs exist, mostly in the interface. We welcome your feedback, suggestions and especially bug reports.
Suggestions regarding the data (e.g. default PTMs or scores) and the interface
are particularly valuable.
- PROCLAME is detailed in:
"Prediction of Posttranslational Modifications Using Intact-Protein
Mass Spectrometric Data", Holmes MR and Giddings MC, Anal. Chem.;
2004; 76(2) pp 276 - 282; (Article).

- If you have not already done so, please e-mail the authors. This will allow communications
regarding updates, and followups on any issues you may have. We will not
give out your e-mail address, and we will only contact you if there is an
important change or in response to an inquiry from you.
- Batch processing mode is available; contact us to register and
to get procedures on its use.
- Proclame will soon be released as a stand-alone, pure Java application,
along with source code, under an open-source license.
